I'm On a Jelly Roll!

I have waited so long to start on my next quilt using my first set of jelly roll strips. These are the really retro fabrics with great colors. I chose a pattern called the "Strip Twist". Here's how it will work.....

I'm sewing sets of four strips from the jelly roll together at a time. The pic above shows the two sets I've sewn so far.

Next, I'll cut the sewn sets into 45 degree triangles like these.

Then I'll take those triangles and mix them all up and sew four at a time into squares like these.

Next the squares will all be sewn together to make the finished product. Cool, huh? I'm hoping to get lots done today. I'll keep you posted on my progress. Piece out!
